A Commitment to Excellence.
In 1979, Floyd Velo created a long-term goal to develop and expand a company that would serve his oil & gas clients with the greatest commitment. Floyd met and married Maralys Enget, and started working side by side with her father, Lyle Enget who provided the cornerstone instructions for Floyd while working on a hot oil truck. Over the years, Floyd and Maralys followed their dreams from North Dakota, working in Montana, South Dakota, and eventually settling into Gillette, Wyoming; working several oilfield opportunities. Between 1980-1983 Jeffrey, Joshua, and Jeremy were introduced to the world.
In 1988, a decision was made to settle back in the Wegley Green Acres area of Williston, North Dakota; until late December of 1997 where the family settled back onto the original Velo Homesteaded Farm South of Columbus, North Dakota. Within the years of their development- Floyd taught a rigorous culmination of a strong work ethic, discipline, and priceless instruction of the oil & gas industry; taught between 1990-2000. Jeffrey, Joshua, and Jeremy would be presented to these life lessons while going to work with Dad.
By the year 2000, the second generation expanded into drilling, service, and production services; providing technological, mechanical, and geological experience to their clients from North Dakota to Texas. (Basins Serviced: Williston, Woodford, Powder River, Permian, Mowry, Big Horn Basin, Barnett, and Eagleford.)

In 2020, a business plan brought the five founding members of Oilrock Alliance together to produce a service company that would include: Natural Gas Compression Engine Service and repair, Wellsite Geology, and Production Services, and an Oil and Gas Consulting Division; created exclusively for maintaining wells, equipment, locations, and leases by offering assistance with lease pumpers & operators.

Geo-steering Services: Our qualified personnel have over 30 years of combined remote and on-site geo-steering service experience history, and will assist your company you’re your drilling, reentry, and formation tops within the Bakken Region.
